SWATCH has announced three new SKIN models set with precious stones. Each of the new models features a total of 174 precious stones—rubies, pink sapphires, and blue sapphires—embedded in a polished black dial. Coloured leather straps take up the latest moves from the fashion world, adding a touch of the avant-garde to the trademark elegance of the ever-popular, super-thin SKIN.
The superb styling of Lustrous Bliss, the SKIN to feature real diamonds on the dial, set a remarkably successful precedent for the Swiss watchmaker. Although conceived as a unique piece, customer demand for the limited-edition diamond SKIN proved so strong that the company felt it had little choice but to respond with new models.
The new Lustrous Bliss models feature an alligator print leather strap and loop with a transparent plastic buckle and the characteristic super-thin SKIN transparent plastic case. Set in concentric circles on the glossy anthracite dial are a total of 174 sapphires. The dial has no numerals or markers; hour and minute hands mark the time.
